Mayme M. Matchett, a Vancouver resident for 27 years, died Sunday in Oregon City. She was 82.
Born June 17, 1894, in Astoria, Mrs. Matchett lived in Oregon City at the time of her death. Previously, she had lived in Vancouver for 27 years.
Mrs. Matchett is survived by her son, Bill Matchett of Oregon City; one grandson; a great-grandson; and her sister, Mrs. Josephine Phillipson of Portland.
Cryptside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Mausoleum in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. O.J. Taylor officiating.
Entombment will follow in The Evergreen Memorial Gardens Mausoleumj.
